The Process

Tech Disrupt Stages Final Version 16.11.2020

Following an initial online information webinar, expressions of interest will be sought from interested parties to submit their initial idea outlining the proposed Industry 4.0 aligned solution. This process will create a shortlisted number of attendees who will be invited to the subsequent ideation workshops based on their expression of interest form. This is to facilitate an interactive workshop session and comply with current Covid-19 restrictions. It is therefore recommended that all applicants attend the initial online information webinar.

The ideation workshops are mandatory and have been designed to provide an interactive platform to encourage engagement between key technology industry leaders, experts and attendees, and play a fundamental role in guiding participants on their entry forms.

Following attendance at mandatory workshops and a final stage pitch, assessments will be undertaken by a judging panel. Six entries will be chosen to each receive a funding voucher of up to €25,000 to help create and develop a viable business solution.

Who should apply?

Any business or individual with an idea or who would like to develop a solution in line with Industry 4.0.

Applications are ONLY open to individuals and businesses who are located or domiciled in counties Clare and Limerick.

NOTE: STAGE 1 IS NOW CLOSED for Expressions of Interest

What's on offer?

A voucher worth up to €25,000 in support is being offered to develop and test the feasibility of your idea.  The purpose of the fund is to accelerate the development of an idea to prototype stage to enable the individual/business to test the feasibility of the solution. Funding will be provided to the successful applicant in the form of a voucher to claim against a procured list of software developers or engineers depending on the proposed project. The maximum level of support per successful application is a voucher worth up to €25,000 and this will be paid direct by the Local Enterprise Offices to a procured list of service providers.
