We invite Expressions of Interest from businesses in relation to the opportunity to showcase their products at the Walker Cup 2026, taking place in Lahinch from 4th to 6th September 2026. The Walker Cup attracts domestic and international visitors, golf enthusiasts, business professionals and tourism stakeholders, presenting a valuable opportunity to showcase Clare-based products to a high-value audience. This event provides a unique opportunity for businesses to market, promote and sell products to an expected audience of 20,000 to 25,000 attendees over the course of the event. There are 4 individual stands available within the Clare County Council marquee.
We are seeking high-quality, engaging businesses that can enhance the visitor experience, including (but not limited to):
- Retail and lifestyle brands
- Artisan or craft products
- Food or drink products
- Eligibility Requirements
- Be trading commercially
- Have appropriate insurance cover and indemnify Clare County Council and Lahinch Golf Club
- Be able to attend for the full three-day event as outlined under relevant information
- Have products available for sale during the event
- Be capable of processing electronic payments and have own point of sales system
- Be responsible for compliance with any licensing requirements with regards to the sale of their products
- No other space other than the stands within the tent are available to showcase products
- No food or drink sold can be consumed on site
- No refrigeration units can be accommodated in the marquee
- Businesses are required to have own point of sales systems and have ability to sell online as well as deliver both nationally and internationally

- Suitability for the event audience
- Presentation and readiness
- Contribution to overall visitor experience
