EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

The Local Enterprise Office Network, in partnership with the Enterprise Europe Network, is offering 15 Irish businesses the opportunity to participate in a subsidised 2-day networking and educational visit to Smart Manufacturing Week 2026.

Smart Manufacturing Week is the UK’s largest festival of advanced manufacturing and engineering. The event brings together the latest technologies, innovations, and smart solutions in the manufacturing and engineering sectors. It features expert-led seminars, extensive networking opportunities, and a comprehensive exhibition showcasing cutting-edge developments.

Event Details

When: 3rd – 4th June 2026

Where: National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham

Participation Fee The trip is heavily subsidised. The fee of €100 per person (payable on confirmation of a place) covers:

• Overnight hotel accommodation
• Networking dinner
• Full access to the exhibition

Travel Arrangements

• Attendees are responsible for booking their own flights.
• Transfers between the hotel and the exhibition, along with all other organised business events, will be provided at no extra cost.

Eligibility This opportunity is open to Irish-based businesses in the engineering or manufacturing sectors that:

• Have been trading for more than 1 year
• Employ at least 2 people

Expressions of interest are now being accepted. The deadline for submission of expressions of interest is Wednesday, 22nd April 2026 at 12 noon.
