This Social Media Marketing Bootcamp takes place over four online sessions and is ideal for retailers and businesses who want to sell their products or services through social media. It is an intensive course on the main aspects of Social Media Marketing including Facebook marketing, Twitter marketing, Instagram marketing, Video marketing and how to design eye-catching images for social media.

This programme is not for digital marketing trainers/consultants, website designers or businesses not based in Limerick.

Course Dates:

  • Session 1:  Tuesday, 14th January 2025 - 9.30 to 13.30
  • Session 2:  Wednesday, 15th January 2025 - 9.30 to 13.30
  • Session 3:  Tuesday, 21st January 2025 - 9.30 to 13.30
  • Session 4:  Wednesday 22nd January 2025 - 1.30 to 13.30

Course Methodology:

Each week (for 2 weeks) there is a 4 hour LIVE online session which you can attend from your home or office using a PC / MAC or tablet (you will need to be able to hear sound either through speakers or headphones but you do not need a webcam). Please note that the larger the screen you use the better the experience will be.

Day 1 & 2

• What makes a social media strategy
• Setting goals, objectives & target markets
• Identifying the proper channels (owned, paid & earned)
• Content marketing & social media

• Using Canva to create content
• Measuring engagement and building community
• Creating a content plan and measuring performance


Day 3 & 4


• Operating the channels:
o Meta
o LinkedIn
o TikTok
o BlueSky
o Quora / Reddit
• Creating content on Canva
