What is the Competition About?
For all 2nd level students in schools within the Limerick Area form a ‘mini-company’ with a view to going forward to the City/County Final where successful students will participate in the National final in Croke Park in June.
The Student Enterprise Coordinator for the Local Enterprise Office Limerick will visit all schools involved & provide:
Talks and workshop to the students through the programme on topics including:
-IDEA Generation
-Marketing and Finance
-Report/Business plan
Student Enterprise Awards Schedule
The Student Enterprise Awards are run by the Local Enterprise Office Limerick. The winners of the Limerick Final (held in March) are entered into the National Final (held in April) where they compete with students from all parts of Ireland who have been selected by their respective Local Enterprise Office.
Details of the schedule or works for the Student Enterprise Awards are divided into 3 semesters:
1) Preparation Work for the school year July – August
2) Semester 1, School Start of year September – December
3) Semester 2, School End of year January – June
