Local Enterprise Offices Limerick, Clare and Tipperary successfully hosted Beyond Borders – The Mid-West Export Drive on 5 March at the Castletroy Park Hotel, bringing together businesses from across the region for a morning of insight, strategy and inspiration around export growth.
The event provided attendees with expert-led perspectives on navigating international markets, accessing supports, and building the confidence needed to expand globally. The morning also featured practical advice and first-hand experiences from regional companies who have successfully grown their presence overseas.
Speaking after the event, Head of Enterprise LEO Limerick, Mike Cantwell thanked all who contributed to its success.
“We were delighted to welcome such a dynamic group of businesses to Beyond Borders. The turnout, engagement and energy in the room reflected the strong ambition within the Mid-West to explore new markets and seize export opportunities. We are committed to supporting that ambition every step of the way.”

A special acknowledgement was also given to the panel of regional exporters—Concrete Fair, Irish Dresden and Atlantic Clinical Packaging Solutions—who offered honest insights into their export journeys, challenges and lessons learned.
