Course Objectives

This course will give the participants the skills to create more impactful social media images using Canva.com.

Course Outcomes

At the end of the training, each participant will:

• Have created new pieces of social media content using Canva
• Understand how to create eye-catching images using Canva.

• Creating an account – free vs pro
• Saving & using your brand assets
• Content planning – using Canva to create stand-out content
• Creating images using templates and designing from scratch.
• A walk through all key design features and tools.
• Grouping and ungrouping.
• Creating carousel posts for Instagram & LinkedIn.
• Creating simple videos for social media using animation and transitions.
• Layering elements and using grids effectively.
• Finding and using frames. Creating a custom frame.
• Q&A throughout.

Pre-requisites

Participants should have created their free Canva account prior to the day and have access to it on their laptop/pc (not tablet or phone) to be able to participate in the practical exercises.
