Shopfront Scheme - Addendum to Business Incentive Scheme 2019-2021 (Extended to 31st December 2024)
The Shopfront Scheme is in addition to the existing Business Incentive Scheme, the Occupation of Vacant Commercial Premises Scheme. This Shopfront Scheme is an additional incentive recognising the acute challenges faced by the retail sector in maintaining a high-street presence and aims to help sustain vibrant town cores.
The Scheme offers retail & hospitality businesses support in either the:
Development of a strategic, operational or growth plan tailored to individual business needs, helping address the challenges faced by high-street retailers, with Mentoring Assistance worth up to €700 (for full details on this support refer to the
Terms and Conditions for the Scheme), or
Physical upgrade works to the exterior of their building, with a grant worth up to €700 (for full details on this support refer to the
Terms and Conditions for the Scheme)

How to Apply for a Grant under the Scheme

- If you are satisfied your business does qualify, complete the Application Form and submit it with all requested documentation (including the description of the proposed works) to:
