Using Social Media to Increase Sales (June 16th, 2014)

These workshops are suitable for those who wish to have their website developed or improved by learning the importance of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and the use of Social Media Marketing.
In this session we take a look at the social media landscape and how to best take advantage of it to increase your sales. We take a practical look at the features of the 3 major social media networks i.e. Facebook, Linked In and Twitter and how they can benefit you by integrating them with your own website. Using Facebook we will look at the types of accounts that can be set up and how best to utilise them for your business. We will also take a practical look at targeted advertising through Facebook's advertising platform whilst comparing it to some of the other networks.
Cost and how to Apply:
Workshops cost €15 for one session, or €30 for three sessions per participant. This cost can be paid weekly. Please note that all applicants seeking assistance grants / mentoring must complete, or have completed a cycle of relevant workshops before their application will be processed. Places on the workshop are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so please apply early.
