On completion of this training course learners will have created their own graphic designs to use in their business. Learners will have created an A4 poster, a website banner and a social media post image. They will also know how to use Pixlr to create these designs and will have the ability to create designs for their company in the future.

Learning Outcomes

• Understanding the Pixlr Environment
• Knowing how to upload images to Pixlr
• Knowing how to resize images without distorting them
• Selecting the correct canvas size
• Understanding ‘Layers’ and how important they are to the design process
• Adding a brand to the image
• Adding text to the image
• Removing unwanted aspects of the photo or background of the image
• Changing the colour of the image by using a filter or simply converting it to a Black & White image
• Saving the image in the correct format and resolution
