WRITING A WINNING TENDER

This course is for Westmeath Businesses. Businesses who book on who are not based in Westmeath may be removed if the place is required by a Westmeath-based business

This half day programme is designed to inform participants about the availability of business through government procurement, participants will be shown how to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge on preparing and writing successful tenders, knowledge of how to source tenders and skills such as preparing and writing successful tenders from identifying tender opportunities, understanding public procurement policies, preparing the tender documents and managing the debrief. 

At the end of the programme, participants will be equipped with the skills to assess and identify bid opportunities, client needs, and know-how to build a relationship with clients & a successful bid team and write incisive, focused, competitive winning tenders.

Training is supported by industry examples, case studies and templates, and will demonstrate, live, how easy the Government eTenders platform is to use.

  • The foundation vital to approaching tendering to both the public and private sector in their given industry
  • The knowledge to successfully approach the tendering market in both the public and private sector in their given industry
  • The ability to gain the maximum benefit from using the etender website
  • Participants will be introduced to the methods of examining the ‘real’ requirements of a tender document
  • Forming a successful tendering strategy, developing a “tender tools library”
  • Applying best practice guidance, tips and pointers on how to write the tender document
  • Using the eTenders website to its maximum potential to source business opportunities and win business
