Photography for Business with Anna Allen Photography

This in person training is geared towards helping businesses take better photos of their food product or service for their online or offline marketing campaigns emphasizing the importance of high quality imagery in business promotion.

The main objectives of this course::

• To create an awareness of the importance of good quality imagery in promoting business products services etc
• To provide participants with a hands-on approach to using and understanding their current camera (digital or smart phone) to enable them to take professional photos of their products
• The basics of composition and how to use it to enhance an image
• To understand lighting and its importance in creating excellent imagery
• To advise on post-production techniques including the effective use of software editing tools

Specific areas covered in the workshop included:

• Outline the importance of good quality imagery in product promotion in both online and traditional channels
• Equipment – making the best use of available equipment – getting the best out of what you already have
• Camera Settings – To understand Focus, Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO
• Photo Composition
• Lighting – How to light your product using constant or artificial light
• Postproduction – Editing and Resizing an image
• Understanding File types (RAW, jpeg, pdf, png etc)

This course is for Westmeath Businesses. Businesses who book on who are not based in Westmeath may be removed if the place is required by a Westmeath-based business
