Course Overview

 

This practical training course is designed to help businesses confidently navigate Revenue Online Services (ROS). Participants will learn how to register for ROS, file returns online, use ROS offline applications, submit forms and payments, and make the most of Revenue's online services.

 

By the end of the course, attendees will have a clear understanding of how to manage their Revenue obligations efficiently using ROS.

 

Participants will learn how to:

 

  • Complete the three-step process to become a ROS customer.
  • Log in and navigate the Revenue Online Service.
  • File Revenue returns online.
  • Download and use the ROS Offline Application.
  • Complete ROS forms offline and upload completed files.
  • Make payments.
  • View submissions.
  • Use the ROS Inbox facility.
  • Complete and submit a Form 11 using the ROS Offline Application.

  • Getting Started with Revenue Online Services
    • o Accessing and navigating the Revenue website
    • o The three steps to becoming a ROS customer
    • o Logging into ROS
    • o Setting up a ROS Debit Instruction
  • Filing Returns and Making Payments
    • o Completing and submitting a VAT return online
    • o Payment of PAYE, PRSI and other Revenue liabilities
    • o Using the ROS Inbox for returns, payments, refunds and notifications
  • Using the ROS Offline Application
    • o Downloading and installing the ROS Offline Application
    • o Downloading, completing and uploading ROS forms offline
    • o Completing and submitting a Form 11 using ROS Offline
  • Employer and Payroll Functions
    • o PAYE Modernisation
    • o Retrieving Revenue Payroll Notifications (RPNs)
    • o Submitting payroll information to Revenue
  • Additional ROS Features
    • o Using the "Manage MyEnquiries" service
    • o Managing online communications with Revenue

 

This course is delivered over two half-day sessions from 10:00am to 1:00pm on 22 and 24 September 2026.
