E-Tenders & Tendering for Public Sector Opportunities Webinar

This online Zoom workshop is designed for owners and staff with responsibility for preparing quotations or tenders within the business. It will equip participants with the tools to navigate the e-Tenders public sector marketplace and understand the process of how to bid effectively for public sector opportunities.

Workshop Outline:

Local Enterprise Office Donegal (LEO) is currently working with the Education & Training Board (ETB) in Donegal to encourage more SMEs in the county to bid for public tenders. As a result, the e-Tenders workshop has been developed to make firms become familiar with tendering processes with a particular focus on submitting a tender via e-Tenders.

This online Zoom workshop is designed for owner/managers and staff with responsibility for preparing quotations or tenders within the business. It will equip participants with the tools to navigate the e-Tenders public sector marketplace and understand the process of how to bid effectively for public sector opportunities.

Elements to be covered within the workshop:

• Understanding different tender competition types and stages.
• Becoming familiar with the eTenders website – navigation, registration, alerting, reading, understanding and submitting a tender 
• Best practice tender response
• Submission of a compliant tender. 

Outcomes:

The workshop will help local businesses to understand how to source live tender competitions.  Participants will be encouraged to develop a ‘tendering mindset’, where the participant understands that tendering should be a core business function and, when the next live tender competition is published, the participant has the skills, competence and confidence to submit a winning response.

The Trainers:

The webinar will be delivered by Roisin Mallon of Bid Services, Ireland’s largest specialist bid and tender management consultancy. Roisin is Bid Services' NI Director, and has a wealth of tendering experience worldwide. Roisin specialises in bid management and coaching, in both the commercial and public sectors. She has worked with small local firms through to large UK firms, enabling them to deliver world-class bids, and ultimately, win more business.
