Management Development Programme

The aim of the Management Development programme is to provide the owner/manager with the management, leadership, business skills and knowledge to achieve sustainability and growth in their business.  This integrated learning and mentor programme is designed to make an impact on the owner manager and their business.
Accelerate Driving Your Business Forward
The programme will help participants:
  • To effectively address their business challenges
  • To develop and grow their business
Participants will examine:
  • Why they are in business and where their business is going.
  • Marketing and Pricing - Profit
  • Continuous improvement
  • Sales and selling techniques
  • Finances, accounting and cashflow
  • Developing income streams
At a personal level the programme will impact the leadership, management and personal skills and behaviour's of the participant.  At a business level the programme will impact on the business results, for example, the introduction of new products or services, reducing debtor days or increasing net profit.

This is a 15 week in person programme, running each Tuesday morning from 8am to 11am, from November 10th 2026 to March 2nd 2027 in the Woodlands House Hotel, Adare Co. Limerick. The dates of the programme are as follows;

  • November: 10th, 17th & 24rd
  • December: 1st, 8th & 15th
  • January: 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th
  • February: 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd
  • March: 2nd
Una McGoey of Anu Change will deliver this programme on behalf of LEO Limerick and specialises in Leadership Development, Change Management and Team Effectiveness. With over 10 years’ experience coaching senior executives and business owners and delivering training courses in a broad range of industries, Una has proven expertise in leadership development, organizational change, business strategy and innovation.
The Management Development programme is not designed for pre-start ups or early stage start-ups and will benefit most, those enterprises which are established and looking for strategies for growth and efficency. This programme is normally oversubscribed in which event LEO Limerick will offer places to suitably eligible businesses on a first come first served basis. The cost of this programme is heavily subsidized by LEO Limerick and a €250 registration fee is due from all successful applicants before their place on the programme is confirmed.
