The Business Development Programme is designed to equip Business Owners/ Managers and/or their senior management team with the knowledge, skills and competencies to assess their management capacity, understand the gaps in their business plan and develop skills to address these issues and deliver a strategic growth plan.

  • Job descriptions and Performance and Development Plans (PDP’s)
  • Individual and Team performance factors: raising our game
  • The HR function, employment law and outsourcing options
  • Leading managing and coaching people to engage and motivate


Part 2:

  • Vision and Strategy
  • What we do, who we are: Logical Levels
  • Values, purpose, mission, identity
  • From BHAG to setting short term goals
  • Our market, the competitors and niche identification

Part 3:

  • Executing plans rigorously
  • Setting ‘smart’ goals, what’s important, not urgent (priorities)
  • Keeping score: KPI’s and metrics
  • Structure and rhythm of meetings
  • Responsibility vs. Accountability
  • Sales channels, direct and indirect
  • Processes and driving efficiency

Part 4:

  • Managing Finance
  • Pricing, margins, revenue and profitability
  • Levers for generating cash flow
  • Options for outsourcing non-core financials
  • Reflections, forward commitments and on-going support

The programme will be delivered over 2 full days, in person workshops. Cost for the course including lunch on both days is €50.
