This workshop is for entrepreneurs who are planning or expanding a business and need help building a plan.

Workshop Contents:

• What is a business plan?
• Why are you preparing the business plan? Who is the business plan to be presented to?
• Who needs a business plan?
• Business plans are vital for running a business and not just for borrowing money or getting investors.
• How long should your plan be, how often do you revise it, how do you present it
• Overview of 3 types of plans – 1 pager, simple plan and formal plan
• What do you include in a business plan – executive summary etc. will go through each heading in detail
• How to use your plan once it’s done

• This training is for businesses currently trading or planning on trading in Waterford City or County. If you are based outside of Waterford please contact the relevant LEO to access a similar service.
