This programme allows entrepreneurs explore and learn through play. Participants will experience theory by applying it to their businesses in the real world. The entrepreneurs will learn and apply skills as the sessions progress, culminating with them having a prototype of their business model established, which they will have begun the testing process on. This programme will provide individuals who are seeking to start their own business with the skills, management tools and expertise in making the right decisions, planning and organising effectively.

Start Your Own Business Programme

This Start Your Own Business course has been developed for those who are thinking of starting a small business or those who have a business that is running less than 2 years. 

This programme allows entrepreneurs explore and learn through play. Participants will experience theory by applying it to their businesses in the real world. The entrepreneurs will learn and apply skills as the sessions progress, culminating with them having a prototype of their business model established, which they will have begun the testing process on. This programme will provide individuals who are seeking to start their own business with the skills, management tools and expertise in making the right decisions, planning and organising effectively.

  • Creative Entrepreneurship & Business Development
  • Business Planning & Sustainable Growth Strategies
  • Intellectual Property, Contracts & GDPR Compliance
  • Market Research, Customer Insights & Positioning
  • Branding, Digital Marketing & Social Media
  • Content Creation, Portfolio Development & Client Acquisition
  • Financial Management, Pricing & Cash Flow Planning
  • Taxation, Freelancing & Revenue Generation

Dates & Time:  9.30am - 4.30pm each day

  • Session 1 -  Friday 11th September 
  • Session 2 -  Friday 18th September 
  • Session 3 -  Friday 25th September 
  • Session 4 -  Friday 03th October
  • Session 5 -  Friday 09th October

Terry Harmer is a Member of the Institute of Training & Development (MIITD), a Fellow of the Sales Institute of Ireland, (FSII), a Member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland, (MMII) a Licensed Practitioner of NLP, (NLP Prac.), holds a BSc. in Business Administration, and a Certificate in Training & Continuing Education, training on training evaluation and transfer of skills to the workplace.

NLC was formed in 1991, and specialises in designing and implementing training programmes and modules modelled on world class companies, using best practice initiatives, to train Sales, Customer Service, Communications, Teambuilding, Leadership, and People Management.
