Fingal Local Enterprise Office (LEO) has been at the forefront in the implementation of urgent actions to help address the crisis local business owner/managers are currently facing with the pandemic.
The new Business Continuity Voucher is now available through Local Enterprise Offices and is open to sole traders and companies across every business sector that employ up to 50 people, the Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys T.D. has announced yesterday.
Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys, T.D., has strongly encouraged employers to avail of the Government’s new and generous Wage Subsidy Scheme to retain employees and to re-employ employees in cases where they have recently been laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment is a payment of €350 per week. It is available to all employees and the self-employed who have lost their job due to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. The Covid-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment will be in place for the duration of the crisis.
LEO Fingal 2019 jobs figures–announced at a networking event in Fingal County Council celebrating local businesses approved for funding in the second half of last year–show that 109 new jobs were created by LEO Fingal supported companies last year.
