Galway City Council Shopfront Enhancement Scheme 2025

Galway City Council is pleased to announce the launch of the Shopfront Enhancement Scheme 2025, a €200,000 fund designed to support independent retail and hospitality businesses in enhancing their shopfronts.

The scheme aims to improve the visual appeal, accessibility, and heritage value of Galway’s streetscapes, with a particular focus on three designated Architectural Conservation Areas (ACAs): City Core, Lower Dominick Street and Eyre Square.

Applications must be submitted online at www.GalwayCity.ie/Shopfront by Friday 11th July 2025.
