What is Design Futures CULTIVATOR?
Limerick Local Enterprise Office and FORGE Design Factory launch Design Futures CULTIVATOR, a unique programme open to designers and creatives resident in Limerick or who are committed to growing their business in this region. The programme focuses on supporting early-stage creative entrepreneurs in both product and business development. Participants will have access to industry experts and mentors, studio and desk space valued at €25,000 and the opportunity to avail of individual enterprise support to the value of €15,000.
Design Futures CULTIVATOR is a six-month programme commencing in September 2023
Who is eligible?
Applications are welcome from graduates and early stage enterprises in the Limerick region.
Anyone with a business idea rooted in design and innovation that they want to develop in the creative sector, including; Animation, Architecture, Ceramics, Costume, Digital Fabrication, Fashion, Film, Furniture, Gaming, Graphics, Homewear, Interiors, Jewellery, Millinery, Product, Set, Sound, Technology, UI, UX, VR & XR Design
Anyone who has recently started a creative business
Anyone looking at self-employment as a realistic career option
Anyone with an interest in growing your business from Limerick and the Mid West , no matter where in the world you live right now.
Selection Process
Design Futures CULTIVATOR is seeking ambitious creative individuals or partners wishing to take their product or service to the next level. We will select up to 12 individuals or partners who exhibit high potential through portfolios. We will review every application and interview shortlisted candidates on a rolling basis, so apply early to give yourself the best possible chance to be accepted.

Deadline for Applications & Key Dates:
The closing date for applications is midday on August 22nd 2023.
Successful applicants will be informed on week commencing August 28th and the programme will kick off on Tue September 12th.
