PAUL Partnership Limerick is the multi-sectoral Partnership Company which promotes Social Inclusion in Limerick City. The organisation is made up of representatives of communities, state agencies, social partners, voluntary groups and elected representatives.
PAUL Partnership is currently responsible for managing and implementing the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (known as SICAP).
SICAP is the national local community development and social inclusion programme. It provides social inclusion supports to individuals and community organisations.
As part of the SICAP Programme, PAUL Partnership provides a one-to-one Enterprise Support Service to people who are unemployed and would like to explore the option of becoming self-employed.
The Enterprise Support Service provides assistance with:
- Exploring a business idea
- Accessing relevant enterprise training
- Applying for the Back to Work Enterprise Allowance
- Exploring the reality of self-employment
PAUL Partnership, with the support of Limerick Local Enterprise Office (LEO), provide a joint-funded Enterprise Training Programme to support Small Business Start-Ups in Limerick City.
The Enterprise Training Programme consists of a selection of Finance, Sales & Marketing and other business-related courses & events. All courses/events are free of charge.
