Bringing Entrepreneurship into the Classroom

The Student Enterprise Programme, an initiative run by the Network of Local Enterprise Offices, is Ireland's largest student enterprise competition. Each year over 23,000 secondary school students from 480 schools take part in this programme by setting up their own student business.

Students will get the opportunity to set up and run their own business and find out what it's really like to be an entrepreneur.

Students will experience the life of an entrepreneur when setting up their own business - from coming-up with with the business idea to marketing, sales and preparing a business plan. Students will attend workshops, receive in-school talks from a business mentor and take part in a County Final to be in with a chance of representing their region at the National Final for the 'Student Enterprise of the Year' award.

The programme is open to to all second level students from 1st year to 3rd year and runs from September 2021 to May 2022.
