The Schools Enterprise Programme Awards Competition is the largest of its kind in the county, with over 15,000 budding entrepreneurs across the county researching, setting up and running their own enterprises, with support from their teachers and Local Enterprise Offices. 2015 marks the 13th anniversary of the first Student Enterprise Awards National Final.
The Schools Enterprise Company Programme, the most popular of all our schools enterprise initiatives, is an incredibly exciting and rewarding programme which provides students the opportunity to set up their own student enterprises and run it exactly like a business. This programme has become a widely used initiative amongst students and has proven to be extremely successful throughout the county.
To kick- start the Student Enterprise Awards Programme, a series of Entrepreneurship Training Workshops will be held in schools. Students 1st to 6th year are invited to attend the workshop along with their respective teachers. The principal aim of the workshop is to serve as a platform for building unique innovative ideas for concepts for the Schools Enterprise Programme.
