Welcome to Local Enterprise Office South Cork

Local Enterprise Office South Cork

Thank you for taking the time to look in on our LEO website. With summer in full swing we are now preparing our suite of programmes and supports that will be available to our client base in Autumn 2017. I would invite you to check back in regularly to see do we have a training programme, an event, a network evening or a financial support and more that may just be right for you.

July is also an exciting time for us in LEO South Cork as we are moving premises and, from mid-July, we will be based in our new home on the County Hall Campus of Cork County Council in the newly refurbished Business Growth Hub. The BGH will be home to the full suite of Economic Development, Enterprise and Tourism services of Cork County Council and we very much look forward to working closely with our colleagues from these sections to enhance the business offerings to the Cork business community.

Right now we are located in Floor 3 of the County Library Building at County Hall and we very much thank our colleagues form the Library Services for the temporary housing as we prepare for our full move.

Summer thoughts you might wish to consider:

  • Are you currently thinking about upgrading your trading online presence? A TRADING ONLINE VOUCHER may be waiting for you!!!
  • Very early stage or having some credit issues and require an injection of funds? A MICROFINANCE LOAN might be a suitable option.

Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs), act as a “First Stop Shop” for anyone seeking information and support on starting or growing a business in Ireland.  The role of the LEO is to drive the development of local enterprise, putting micro and small business at the heart of job creation.  We support business start-ups and work to increase the job potential of new and existing micro and small businesses with information, advice, training, mentoring, seminars and selective financial support.

We invite you to take a look around our website and see just what might be relevant to you at this point in time. See our upcoming training programmes and events, our various grant programmes, the partners we work with and more.

Cork County Council is committed to supporting enterprise within our region and as your Local Enterprise Office we look forward to working with you on your business journey.
