Effective Sales Planning & Lead Generation

The aim of this workshop is to help business owners or staff of SME’s who are now taking on the responsibility of sales, to gain a strategic insight and “helicopter” view in order to develop cost effective strategies to generate sales. Participants will learn the necessary skills to help them explore new avenues for generating leads, effectively network, build alliances and develop opportunities with existing clients. They will also learn the steps to create slick, results driven and targeted campaigns (direct mail, email & telephone) to develop relations and win sales.  

Objectives

After completing the workshop, each participant will be able to:

  • Develop sales strategies to generate leads, build the pipeline and increase sales
  • Identify various target groups – learn more about customers to create cost effective campaigns
  • Work out numbers needed to generate sales and achieve your sales targets
  • Find, source and build “hot” prospect lists and build a database of customers
  • Discover new avenues to find opportunities and create partnerships with other businesses
  • Develop the power of networking, learn to connect and become the “go to” guy every time
  • Chose the right social media platform to market your business proactively
  • Learn the key steps to design clever direct mail letters and understand the power of email
  • Apply the key principles to confidently pick up the telephone to generate leads
  • Follow up on leads to develop opportunities and get repeat business

  • The numbers game - set realistic targets and conversion rates for a healthy sales pipeline
  • Source leads – how, where, when and what to look for when sourcing new leads
  • Widen your net– build relations by networking, managing referrals & strategic partnerships
  • Identify and utilise the right social media platforms for your business
  • The benefits of direct marketing – learn the do’s and don’ts of “dazzling” sales letters and email messages
  • The advantages of picking up the phone to build connections with customers
  • The importance of follow up to maximise opportunities, improve relations & get repeat sales
