Enterprise Ireland Agile Innovation Fund
Enterprise Ireland’s new Agile Innovation Fund allows companies to access up to 50% in support of innovation projects with a total cost of up to €300,000. With fast–track approval and streamlined online application process it is a great fit for companies that need to rapidly develop solutions or are planning a first R&D project. The Agile Innovation Fund is open to eligible clients of Enterprise Ireland and the Local Enterprise Office.

The Applied Polymer Technologies (APT) Gateway is based on the Athlone IT campus and is part of the Technology Gateway Network, a nationwide resource for industry. APT houses the Centre for Industrial Services and Design. APT/CISD offers extensive design, prototyping, consultancy, Chemical Analysis, Physical/Mechanical Analysis, Failure Analysis, Product Testing, Quality Control, Formulation Development, Food and Packaging Testing, Surface Analysis, and R&D. APT/CISD has a strong focus on supporting start-ups and SMEs that have some in-house scientific or technological capacity, but not sufficient to engage in formal R&D activity, to make the transition to R&D performance
