Enterprise Week – Educational Trade Mission – Hotel Restaurant & Catering – London Excel, 3rd & 4th March 2020

As part of our 2020 programme, Carlow County Council’s – Local Enterprise Office has many opportunities for companies to develop and grow in a number of ways.

We are currently seeking applications from suitable companies to participate in an educational trade mission to Hotel, Restaurant & Catering (HRC) in the London Excel on 3^rd & 4^th March 2020.

HRC is the UK’s largest and most prestigious event for the hospitality and food service industry.  HRC will welcome 650 suppliers showcasing ground-breaking products from big brands to innovative start-ups in catering equipment, food, drink, technology, interior design and tabletop solutions. To cater to the industries thirst for knowledge, HRC educates 21,000 visitors on the latest trends and issues plus HRC plays host to the UK’s most prestigious chef competition – Salon Culinaire. 

The four shows that form HRC (Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Show) include: The Foodservice Show, The Interiors and Tabletop Show, The Professional Kitchen Show and The Hospitality Tech Show.

The Foodservice Show – The Foodservice Show provides food service outlets and distributors with all the food and drink needs for the modern professional kitchen. From frozen to raw ingredients, part prepared, ambient, stocks and sauces, oils, delicatessen and single serve items.

The Professional Kitchen Show – The UK’s largest and most comprehensive event for professional catering equipment. Exhibitors cover both heavy and lightweight equipment, spares, dealers and designers. 

The Interiors and Tabletop Show – The UK’s only dedicated front of house show. Our suppliers cover all the client facing needs of hospitality outlets. Be it tableware, linen, design services, staffing requirements, furniture and accessories.

The Hospitality Tech Show - The UK’s foremost event dedicated to technologies across the hospitality and food service sectors.

From EPOS to booking management systems, customer engagement and marketing loyalty programs, HR management, stock control and food safety systems.

Join 21,000 hospitality and food service professionals for 2 days of sourcing, inspiring talks and unrivalled networking opportunities.

We would appreciate if you would consider attending or nominating somebody from your company to attend.  In previous years, our experience is that these are invaluable opportunities for companies and individuals to develop their network of contacts, look at up to date market trends and innovations and hear from international experts.

Companies must be based in County Carlow and there is a limited number of places available.  When booking please also email enterprise@carlowcoco.ie with a copy of the person’s passport for travelling purposes.

The cost of attending is heavily subsidised at €100 per client.  The clients are responsible for their own transport to and from the Airport and all subsistence during the visit. The Local Enterprise Office will provide flights, accommodation and register the clients for the show.  It is proposed to depart early on 3^rd  March 2020 and return late on 4^th March 2020.

Closing date for applications is Monday 17^th February 2020.

Where number of applications exceeds the number of places, the Local Enterprise Office will make a selection based on suitability for the programme
