Receive SMS, Email and Landline Alerts issued for County Carlow
Carlow County Council is pleased to announce that it is now an official alerter on MapAlerter.com. This means that if you live or work in County Carlow you can choose for the Council to send you alerts, free of charge, via SMS Text Message and Email in relation to notifications and events occurring in your locality.
Carlow County Council is currently issuing Text Message and Email alerts for the following alert categories:
- Water supply disruptions, burst mains or boil water notifications
- Scheduled road works and closures
- Road accidents and incidents
- Winter service, extreme weather and flood alerts
- Other alerts ( for example festivals, local news, parade notices etc )

Registration requires that you supply your mobile number, email address, and basic address information so that MapAlerter.com can deliver alerts to you. MapAlerter.com does not supply contact details of registered customers on to any 3rd party organisations ( such as local authorities, government departments etc ). No personal or sensitive information is requested and it is optional to provide your full name.
This is a free service which is provided by Carlow County Council and MapAlerter.com. This means that there are no registration costs and there are no charges to receive SMS or Emails.
