Great Outdoors

Extending almost 4km, the walks include Butlers Wood Loop (700m), the Lake Path, Fox Covert Trail (1,100m) and Lost Forest Trail (1,100m).

The county has a superb range of golf courses to choose from, all within easy distance of Carlow Town. Bunclody is the only golf course in Europe with an elevator taking you from the 17th hole up five floors to the 18th tee box, giving a bird’s eye view over the River Slaney.
