We are thrilled to announce the launch of ‘Generations - A County Carlow Story of Family and Food’, a book that masterfully weaves together the tapestry of Carlow's people and their profound connection to food. This remarkable book transcends time and reminds us of the enduring power of family and heritage”. John concluded by saying “we are delighted to bring the launch of this publication to our library as libraries are the keepers of local stories and the guardians of community wisdom. They serve as portals to the past, windows to the present, and gateways to a brighter future, all while celebrating the unique voices and narratives that enrich our shared heritage”.

The project has been developed in partnership with the Local Enterprise Office and speaking about the book, Kieran Comerford, Head of Economic Development & Enterprise said “we are delighted to bring together these 14 stories from across County Carlow. They are the primary source of support, the creators of entrepreneurs, and the guardians of local economies. Strong families build strong communities, fostering resilience and driving economic growth that benefits all."
