ARTLINKS BURSARIES AWARDED SOUTH EAST

The Arts Offices of Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford Local Authorities are pleased to announce the awarding of their annual bursary support to  artists with a collective total of over €50,000 invested.

Artlinks is an  initiative of the Arts Offices in these partner counties which is supported by the Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon to facilitate professional development opportunities for artists in their communities and across all artistic disciplines.

Carlow County Council are delighted to announce the following 2016 artist recipients of bursaries awards towards the professional development of the following Carlow artists:

  • Dance:  Emma Martin, Kilbride, Carlow.
  • Visual Arts: Enda Bowe, Rathnapish.
  • Visual Arts: Rennie Buenting, Carlow.
  • Visual Arts: Helen Robbins, Myshall.
  • Music: Nuala Dalton, Bagenalstown.
  • Theatre: Janice De Broithe, Carlow,
  • Theatre : Angela Keogh, Bagenalstown.
  • Literature: Joe Campbell, Bagenalstown.
  • Literature: Deirdre Parkes, Carlow
  • Community Arts: Pure Thinking Group, Carlow
  • Film: Liam O'Neill, Borris.
  • Multidisciplinary: Orla Ryan, Borris
