World’s leading TV hypnotist, mentalist and brain hacker, Keith Barry inspires business gathering

“Believe and you can make a difference” to your business and life was one of the core messages from Keith Barry for the Mind Magic Your Business networking event hosted in IT Carlow this week.

The gathering of over 150 business people from across Carlow , Kildare & Kilkenny was hosted the Local Enterprise Offices in Carlow , Kildare & Kilkenny County Council’s in partnership with Wright Insurance Brokers, the Institute of Technology Carlow and Carlow Kilkenny Skillnet.

The event started with an opportunity to network which was followed by development workshops by Greg Fry - Content Plan , Terry Harmer - NLC Training , Susan Wallace - Lalor O'Shea McQuillan and Web Summit MC Yvonne Redmond.

“The workshops were designed to inspire and connect” said Kieran Comerford , Head of Enterprise in Carlow County Council’s – Local Enterprise Office , Comerford continued to say “our role in the Local Enterprise Offices is all about helping companies realize opportunities and networking provides a unique opportunity for companies to expand and grow through the development of peer learning and sharing”

The workshop was followed by the Mind Magic Your Business session with Keith who in his keynote presentation revealed how to tap into your subconscious mind in order to break through barriers, disrupt unhealthy thought patterns and exceed expectations both in their business and personal lives.

 The event was hosted in IT Carlow ,and Declan Doyle Vice president for Development and Research at Institute of Technology Carlow said “creating a strong link with business is important to us in IT Carlow and we are delighted to be able to work in partnership to provide this flagship event for Carlow and the surrounding counties” , Doyle continued to say “we in IT Carlow can offer enterprises unique and innovative solutions designed to improve their competitiveness and we would encourage SME’s to engage with us in order to avail of the support solutions available”.

Attending the event , Peter Carey , Chief Executive of Kildare County Council said “I am delighted with the engagement by the business communities across the LEO offices in this event which really showcases the collaborative approach that can be achieved since the establishment of the LEO offices” , Carey continued to say “supporting local is really important to us in the local authority sector and events like this give us the opportunity to hear , discover and learn about the inspiring entrepreneurial eco-systems that exist in each of the counties involved in this event”.

The event was co-ordinated by the Local Enterprise Office in Carlow , Pauline Hoctor Business Advisor with the Local Enterprise Office in Carlow said “in the Local Enterprise Offices our events are design to inspire , engagement , develop and create opportunity and we are delighted with the participation in this event” , Hoctor continued to say “we are currently planning a variety of new projects for 2019 designed to support start up and developing companies by networking , business development and mentoring”.
