Celtic Taste of Carlow

 We are delighted to announce that the highly successful Pan Celtic International Festival is back in Carlow again this year and will take place from the 18th to the 22nd of April 2017 at a host of venues throughout Carlow town. The festival features celebrations in Celtic music, song, dance, sport, craft and food from the six participating nations – Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany (France), Cornwall and the Isle of Man.

In partnership with the Festival Organisers, Carlow Tourism will be arranging the “Celtic Taste of Carlow’. This is an indoor and outdoor market event hosting crafts and foods from around Ireland and from as many of the other participating nations as possible. The event will take place on in the area of the Potato Market/Liberty Tree and Kennedy Avenue in Carlow town on;

Saturday, 22nd April 2017      9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Sunday, 23rd April 2017         12 noon – 6 p.m.

 We are inviting you to participate on these two days to showcase, sell or provide a ‘taste’ of your crafts or food. This area of Carlow town should be well populated on these two days as there are a host of activities scheduled to take place.

 There has already been considerable interest in participating, so immediate booking is advisable. Please complete the attached booking form and return to the Carlow Tourism Office, College Street, Carlow on or before Friday, 3rd March 2017

 If you are a food provider please note that exhibition space is limited to those food providers who are registered as a food producer with the HSE, specialising in Irish food products.  Please note that you must arrange public liability insurance (if not already in place) if you are intending to exhibit at the Celtic Taste of Carlow. This insurance must indemnify Carlow Tourism, Carlow County Council and Pan Celtic Festival in respect of all activities being undertaken by you on April 22nd and April 23rd. Please ensure that a copy of your public liability insurance together with the indemnity to the above parties is returned to our offices with the attached booking form. Unfortunately we will not be in a position to cover attendance of any stands which do not produce necessary documentation. Stand space will only be confirmed once insurance details are provided.
