Creative Social Media essential for consumer facing companies during economic challenges

 

“Creative social media is essential for consumer facing companies” says Colin Duggan , President of County Carlow welcoming a new programme of supports between County Carlow Chamber and Local Enterprise Office in Carlow County Council.

The President continued to say “In times like today, not having a social media presence can be harmful for your brand awareness. From building your brand loyalty to getting more sales, social media can do a lot for building your brand's presence on the web”.

The new programmes offers a suite of social media audits and training and networking opportunities over the coming months to be provided by County Carlow Chamber and supported by Carlow County Council – Local Enterprise Office .

Giving insight into the benefits of social media  , Kieran Comerford , Head of Enterprise with the Local Enterprise Office , Carlow County Council said “a review of our recent supports shows that  companies who develop their social media marketing have increased their business exposure which has seen more leads and hence more sales”. The Head of Enterprise continued to say, “No matter what you sell and who you sell it to, using social media as a marketing tool can help you grow your brand and generate more leads.”

Speaking about the support packages available from the Chamber , Brian O’Farrell , Chief Executive with County Carlow Chamber said “In the span of only a few months, companies have had to completely adjust their messaging, product lineup, ways of working and how they engage with customers and we in the Chamber are glad to be in a position to offer Social Media Audits & Specialized Training and networking as part of this support”. The Chief Executive continued to say “companies who sign up will get a professional audit from a marketing professional which will produce a clear strategy for the future and also provide a roadmap to supports available for their digital development or participate in a short course”. The Chief Executive concluded by saying “companies who sign up give a small contribution for the programme which will be 100% given to the Chambers chosen charity for 2020”.
