Speaking about the importance of supporting start ups in the County, Séamus Doran, Assistant Head of Economic Development & Enterprise said “An empowered startup ecosystem is the heartbeat of innovation and economic growth, fuelling the engine of progress in our County. It's where fresh ideas take flight, where dreams transform into reality, and where the future finds its roots. Carlow Business Day is one way we can collectively work together to support our emerging start up organisations”.  Séamus continued to say “working with starts ups is a positive experience but we often find they get bogged down in the jargon of the process. This event is designed to break down jargon. Attending an event that demystifies business jargon is not just about understanding the language of commerce; it's about empowering individuals with the knowledge to navigate the complex world of business development. In breaking down the barriers of jargon, we open doors to inclusivity, allowing all to participate in the conversation of economic growth and prosperity.”

Carlow Business Day is a series of events on October 20th being organised by a partnership including Carlow County Council’s Local Enterprise Office and Library Services, County Carlow Chamber and Bagenalstown Area Chamber, Network Ireland Carlow, Kilkenny Carlow ETB, South East Technological University, Carlow County Development Partnership, Carlow Tourism and Carlow College.
