Exclusive Masterclass with Orlaith Carmody for Powerhouse Women in Business Award Finalists
Carlow County Council’s Local Enterprise Office is offering an exciting opportunity for local businesswomen to enter the Powerhouse Women in Business Awards 2024. With the introduction of a special Masterclass Away Day for all finalists, facilitated by Orlaith Carmody of Carmody Coaching and Consulting, the deadline for entries has been extended to 4th November 2024 at 12 noon. By extending the deadline, the Local Enterprise Office aims to offer as many women as possible in County Carlow the chance to become finalists and experience this invaluable learning day.
This exclusive Masterclass is a new addition to the awards, providing all finalists with a unique opportunity to learn from one of Ireland’s leading business coaches. Orlaith Carmody, an expert in leadership, communication, and business strategy, will guide participants through key insights that will help elevate their business and personal development. Orlaith Carmody specialises in leadership, communications and executive presence. A former broadcast journalist, Orlaith brings a wealth of expertise in leadership development. This exciting masterclass is designed to provide finalists with the tools, insights, and inspiration they need to continue growing their businesses.
The Powerhouse Women in Business Awards 2024 will be held on Thursday, 21st November 2024, at the Woodford Dolmen Hotel. This event is a tribute to the amazing achievements of women in business across County Carlow and will be hosted by Joanne Sweeney, an acclaimed author, podcaster and business practitioner.
The awards ceremony recognises female entrepreneurs from small and medium-sized enterprises with 10 employees or less. There are ten award categories which will highlight the diversity and achievements of women in business, including:
- Powerhouse – Young Businesswoman of the Year 2024
- Powerhouse – Start-Up of the Year 2024
- Powerhouse – Creative Businesswoman of the Year 2024
- Powerhouse – Best Customer Service Award 2024
- Powerhouse – Best in Professional Service Award (B2B) 2024
- Powerhouse – Outstanding Management & Leadership Award 2024
- Powerhouse – EmpowerHER Green Business Award 2024
- Powerhouse – Digital Transformation of the Year Award 2024
Additionally, two prestigious awards being Lifetime Achievement Award 2024 and Businesswoman of the Year Award 2024 – will be selected from the overall pool of entrants.
Finalists will receive four complimentary tickets to the event, along with the chance to participate in the exclusive Masterclass Away Day in the New Year.
