Hacketstown VDS Competition

Hacketstown Competition

Carlow County Council and Carlow Local Enterprise Office are promoting a Village Design Statement for Hacketstown which includes a Community Led vision of how the town can develop and be improved in the future. They have appointed a team of landscape architects and planners (JBA Consulting) to create the design statement and consult with the local community.

Instead of holding interactive workshops we invite the local community to post their ideas and comments on to this website, giving as much detail as possible for improvements to Hacketstown over a range of timeframes i.e. 1-2 years, in 15 years and in 25 years.

We are also holding a competition for children and young people of Hacketstown and its wider environs to provide illustrative ideas for town improvements.
