INAB accreditation brings competitive edge to County Carlow Company

Carlow Company , 2eva is now unique as the only recognised INAB & NSAI air permeability testing company in Ireland holding both standards at the same time.  The award of INAB Accreditation stems from a major investment in upskilling, equipment and procedures and allows 2eva to tender for more diverse projects and a broader client base nationally.

Speaking about the achievements of the company in 2020 , Mark Shirley , Founder said “During 2020, we made a strategic conscious decision to invest in our company and our people as a result of the lockdown and this investment has now achieved this standard but also helped make our company unique in the marketplace”. Mark continued to say “at the heart of our business is providing a quality professional service to our clients and staying at the top of our game in terms of certification and the development of our team is key to that goal and we are delighted to achieve this standard which is a testimate to our dedication to quality levels of service to our clients.  This builds on the Company core strategy of delivering leading edge consultancy & testing to our broad customer range and has come about as a result of much focus and attention by our growing team of multi-disciplined professionals.”

2eva is a Carlow based independent energy consultancy firm. The company was founded in 2007 by Mark Shirley & is based in the Carlow Gateway Business Centre, the previous Research & Development facility of Irish Sugar.

The achievement of the INAB Accreditation was supported by the Local Enterprise Office via participation in the Lean for Micro Programme which helps companies to look at their systems. Speaking about the accreditation and support , Kieran Comerford , Head of Economic Development & Enterprise said “I would like to congratulate Mark and his team for the accreditation which is a great achievement for them as an SME based in County Carlow”.
