Opportunity knocks for female entrepreneurship networking masterclass

Female Enterprise WIB Event in association with EBS

Today (15th May 2019) , Carlow County Council’s – Local Enterprise Office in association with EBS (Carlow) launched a joint Female Entrepreneurship Masterclass which will be delivered by Susan Hayes AKA “The Positive Economist” which is designed to help companies to Build their revenues , profits and cashflows.

The masterclass is free of charge and will be held on 29th May 2019 in the Woodford Dolmen Hotel , Carlow from 10.30am to 3.30pm to County Carlow Female Entrepreneurs and provides a forum for best practice sharing , networking and to hear from experts in the area of building revenue , profit and managing cashflow.

Susan Hayes Culleton.“The Positive Economist” is Managing Director of the HayesCulleton Group.. Susan is co-author of “Positive Economics”, the market-leading Leaving Cert economics textbook in Ireland, and she is the author of two books published by Penguin, “The Savvy Woman’s Guide to Financial Freedom” and “The Savvy Guide to Making More Money”. Susan is co-founder of The Positive Economist and Savvy Women Online. She serves on the boards of the Irish International Business Network and the Ireland Hong Kong Business Forum. Susan holds a Chartered Financial Analyst charter, MSc Executive Leadership, BSc Financial Maths and Economics and a Diploma in Taxation

Speaking about the masterclass Pauline Hoctor , Senior Enterprise Development Officer with the Local Enterprise Office said “we are delighted to be working with EBS to deliver this masterclass for female led SME’s and solo entrepreneurs” , Hoctor continued to say “we have found that female entrepreneurs collectively work together to solve problems and form alliances to make business happen and this masterclass is designed to once again to provide a forum to building connections while hearing from industry experts”, Hoctor concluded by saying “we believe that by female entrepreneurs working together they build collective resilience which increases competitiveness in the long term”

Mairead Garvan from EBS speaking at the launch said “at EBS our business is all about supporting milestones in people lives and we understand that female entrepreneurs face many opportunities and challenges and we are delighted to provide our expertise on generations of supporting milestones for the County Carlow community” , Mairead continued to say “we are delighted to be able to work with Carlow County Council’s – Local Enterprise Office to provide this free opportunity to entrepreneurs and we welcome the opportunity to support the County Carlow Community”.

Speaking about the programme , Kathleen Holohan , Chief Executive with Carlow County Carlow said “we are delighted to be able to provide supports to the female enterprise community in County Carlow as part of our business support programme and this masterclass is very much about helping women to realise their entrepreneurial ambitions” , Holohan continued to say “we are fortunate in County Carlow to have many examples of female leaders in education , enterprise and public service which not just builds a network but also provides role models for future generations”.
