Santa makes the call and releases a message to all the Primary School Children in County Carlow.
A very important call from the North People has been received by Carlow County Council and the Team in Jones Business Systems on O’Brien Road in Carlow, in that Santa has sent a message to each of the primary school Children in Carlow a message and wants their help in spreading the message across the County.
The Team in Carlow County Council & Jones Business Systems are delighted to answer that call and are encouraging young people, their parents and all the people they know to view and like their personal Santa message on YouTube. County Carlow Festive Family Experience - Santa’s Primary School Message Competition this year has over €3,000 worth of prizes for the schools and students.
To enter you just watch and like the message on Youtube and the school with the most watches and likes at Midnight on 27th November 2021 will win the prizes.
Cllr. Fintan Phelan, Cathaoirleach with Carlow County Council said, “In our primary schools, we have amazing young people who have been so good this year and I’m delighted Santa agreed to come record a special message for all the students.” Fintan continued to say, “As a county, everyone is really pulling together to make this Christmas special and we in the Council are doing all we can to help everybody have a safe, happy and healthy Christmas.”
Keith Jones, from Jones Business Systems said “We are delighted to help out this year and the community in County Carlow has been so good to the business community this year in shopping local and also being local online”.
Speaking about the Festive Family Experience Programme for 2021, Pierce Kavanagh, Economic Development Officer with the Local Enterprise Office in Carlow County Council said “This year the Festive Family Experience has a variety of events for all and we would encourage people to visit Carlow Christmas on Facebook and check out details on the www.localenterprise.ie/carlow website”. Pierce concluded by saying “shopping local and supporting jobs is so important this year and we would encourage everybody to look for local when planning for the festive season 2021”.
