Carlow Tourism will organise their annual familiarisation trips of County Carlow on Thursday, April 26^th and Thursday, May 10^th 2018.

One tour will cover the main attractions in the southern area of the county while the other will feature the northern area. A detailed programme will follow next week.

EXPECT THE FOLLOWING:

1. Visit some of Carlow’s main visitor attractions, allowing you to sell the county more effectively
2. Learn about the history and heritage of County Carlow in a fun and engaging way with local historian Jimmy O’ Toole.
3. Meet other members in the business – share and refer business amongst each other.

Both bus tours are being funded by Carlow County Council under the Town and Village programme. Tourism Care and Hospitality and Tourism Administration and Planning courses (30 hours approx. approved to QQI Level 4 and QQI Level 5) will start in mid-April for those members who would like more in-depth training in the area of tourism.
