“Crafting Success: Monetising Creative Skills” is an engaging, hands-on workshop designed to help creative entrepreneurs and makers turn their talents into thriving, sustainable businesses. Over the course of the session, participants will identify which of their creative skills can be monetised, understand how to connect with the right audience, and explore a range of business models suited to the creative sector including service-based, product-based, and passive income options.
Through a mix of practical exercises, real-world examples, and group discussions, participants will gain clarity on their unique value, learn how to price their work effectively, and begin crafting a brand that truly reflects their creative identity. The session also includes guidance on creating a compelling personal brand story and elevator pitch.
By the end of the workshop, each participant will leave with a personalised action plan that includes setting revenue goals, identifying target customers, outlining a simple business model, and defining the next three steps to take within 30 days, providing a clear and practical roadmap to move forward with confidence and momentum.
This talk is part funded by Craft Work 4.0 supported by Creative Europe.
