Thinking of launching or refining a podcast in 2026?

A successful podcast is not built on enthusiasm alone. It requires clarity of purpose, confident delivery, and a structured production process. Whether your goal is to build a brand, grow an audience, support a business, or share expertise, investing time in developing the right foundations is what separates podcasts that fade out from those that grow sustainably.

This programme is designed to help participants step back, shape their idea properly, build confidence behind the microphone, and develop the practical skills needed to produce a professional‑quality podcast. By combining creative development, performance coaching, and technical production training, participants leave with a clear, repeatable approach to podcasting that supports consistency, quality, and long‑term impact.

About the Programme

The programme is delivered by Shannon Redmond, Chief Operating Officer of Ampifi Podcast Studio, Radio Host and Lead Trainer, alongside Ash Flynn, In‑House Head of Production at Ampifi Podcast Studio.

Programme Approach

This structured training guides participants from initial concept to confident execution. The focus is on clarity, practicality, and sustainability, ensuring participants leave with the skills, tools, and understanding required to launch or refine a podcast with purpose.

Rather than theory alone, participants work through their own podcast idea throughout the programme, applying learning directly to their concept.

Key Areas Covered

Defining the Podcast Concept
Participants learn how to refine and focus their podcast idea, identify their niche and unique positioning, define their ideal listener, and align their podcast with broader creative or business goals. This stage ensures each podcast has a clear purpose, direction, and audience.

Pre‑Production and Planning
This section focuses on structure and consistency. Participants explore podcast formats, episode structure, running orders, content planning, episode mapping, and scripting techniques ranging from structured to conversational styles. Emphasis is placed on building a repeatable and sustainable production process.

Voice, Delivery and Mic Confidence
Led by Shannon Redmond, this module supports participants in developing confidence behind the microphone. Topics include relaxation techniques, voice training fundamentals, breath control, pacing, authenticity, and practical exercises to reduce nerves and improve on‑mic presence.

Technical Production and Equipment
Delivered in collaboration with Ash Flynn, this section introduces participants to microphones and recording equipment, recording environments, audio setup and workflows, editing fundamentals, production standards, and common technical mistakes to avoid. Participants gain a clear understanding of how to achieve a professional sound without unnecessary complexity.

Key Outcomes for Participants

By the end of the programme, participants will have:

  • A clearly defined podcast concept with a strong sense of purpose
  • A structured and repeatable approach to planning and producing episodes
  • Improved confidence and authenticity on the microphone
  • Practical knowledge of recording, editing, and production tools
  • The foundation required to launch or elevate a professional‑quality podcast

This programme is ideal for individuals, creatives, and businesses who want to approach podcasting strategically, confidently, and professionally.
