Hands Across Generations – AI & Productivity Tools for the Creative Sector for Older Adults

As part of the Hand Across Generations Erasmus+ Programme, participants from Lithuania, Greece, Italy, Finland, Cyprus, Spain, and Ireland are invited to take part in AI & Productivity Tools for the Creative Sector for Older Adults, facilitated by Noel Davidson from the Entrepreneurs Academy.

The online programme will take place on Tuesday, 1st September 2026, from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Irish Time).

This practical and engaging workshop is designed to introduce older adults working in the creative, cultural, heritage, craft, tourism, and community sectors to the rapidly evolving world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital productivity tools. Participants will explore how AI can support creativity, improve efficiency, reduce administrative workloads, and open up new opportunities for learning, communication, and enterprise development.

The session will focus on accessible, easy-to-use tools that can help individuals and organisations work smarter, enhance creativity, and increase their digital confidence.

The workshop will cover:

• An introduction to Artificial Intelligence and its growing role in everyday life and work.
• Understanding the opportunities and limitations of AI for creative professionals and community organisations.
• Exploring AI-powered tools for content creation, idea generation, brainstorming, and storytelling.
• Using AI to support writing, editing, and communication tasks.
• Creating marketing content, social media posts, and promotional materials with AI assistance.
• Productivity tools for planning, organisation, note-taking, and project management.
• AI applications for research, information gathering, and lifelong learning.
• Practical demonstrations of popular AI tools and platforms suitable for beginners.
• Ethical considerations, privacy, copyright, and responsible use of AI technologies.
• Strategies for integrating AI into creative and cultural projects while maintaining authenticity and personal creativity.
• Future trends and emerging opportunities for older adults in the digital economy.

Who Should Attend?

No previous experience with AI is required. Participants only need a curiosity about new technologies and a willingness to explore practical digital tools that can support their personal and professional activities.

The workshop will combine presentations, live demonstrations, practical exercises, and opportunities for participants from across Europe to exchange experiences and learn from one another.
