Multi-Party Framework Agreement | A Multi-Party Framework Agreement is a two-stage procurement mechanism whereby the Central Purchasing Body (the LGOPC) carries out a competition to appoint Suppliers to a Framework for certain works, supplies or services. Public Service Bodies (Contracting Authorities) will then run Supplementary Request for Tenders amongst these Suppliers for their particular region to procure Road Signs & Ancillaries (Supply Only) products. |
Who should Apply to Lot 1? Who should Apply to Lot 2? | Lot 1: Suppliers /Economic Operators who are experienced in supplying Permanent Prescribed Road Signs & Ancillaries. Note: Lot 1 Tenderers must provide certification from an accredited organisation that they can manufacture signs in accordance with EN 12899-1:2007 (Fixed, vertical road traffic signs) and EN 12899-4:2007 (Factory Production Control). Lot 2: Suppliers /Economic Operators who are experienced in supplying Temporary Roadworks Signs & Ancillaries. |
What is Lot 1: Permanent Prescribed Road Signs & Ancillaries? What is Lot 2: Temporary Roadworks Signs & Ancillaries? | Lot 1: relates to the Supply Only of Permanent Prescribed Road Signs & Ancillaries i.e. including Signs, Posts and Brackets. Road signs and signposts must conform in all respects with the current Road Traffic Regulations, the Traffic Signs Manual and with TS4 Guidelines, Certification Scheme, and Specification for the Construction of Traffic Signs. The numbering system used to identify the signs is to be in accordance with the current edition of the Traffic Signs Manual. Lot 2: relates to the Supply Only of Temporary Roadworks Signs & Ancillaries i.e. including Signs, Posts, Brackets, Cones, Barriers, Bollards etc. Road signs and signposts must conform in all respects with the current Road Traffic Regulations, the Traffic Signs Manual and with TS4 Guidelines, Certification Scheme, and Specification for the Construction of Traffic Signs. The numbering system used to identify the signs is to be in accordance with the current edition of the Traffic Signs Manual. |

Duration of the Framework | It is anticipated that the Framework Agreement will commence in Quarter 2, 2019 and that the term will be two years with the option, at the sole discretion of the LGOPC, to extend the term for two further periods of one year each unless it is otherwise terminated in accordance with the terms of the Framework Agreement. Note: The Framework will be closed to new applications during the term of the Framework. |
