Annually the National Enterprise Awards offer a countrywide platform for businesses across the country to showcase what they do and what they can offer the market place.

Waterford LEO has a fantastic opportunity to put forward a number of Waterford based businesses for the 2018 National Enterprise Awards.

We would like to extend this opportunity to get involved to you. The awards will take place in Dublin 25^th May 2018. We are now organising the Waterford County Competition to identify the micro enterprise that will go forward to represent Waterford at the National final.

The National Enterprise Awards recognises the contribution that small businesses make to the Irish economy and the competition is open to small businesses that have received grant assistance from the former CEBs or the LEO.

Eligible businesses must employ ten or less staff and previous County winners may also re-enter. The Waterford winner will be announced at an event in March as part of National Enterprise Week 2018.

The Waterford winner will receive an investment into their business of €3,000 plus €1,000 worth of expert mentoring.



We are keen to place Waterford at the top of the table nationally and we would be delighted to work with you on this opportunity. The application process is as follows:

       

Appointment of Mentor to provide assistance with your application by 16^th February 2018
    

Application Preparation Stage 16^th February 2018 to 2^nd March 2018


Submission of Application: 3^rd March 2018
   

In Premises Judging: week commencing 26^th February
   

Awards Ceremony: week commencing 5^th March 2018
 


With the assistance of a mentor, applicants must then complete an application form and forward this together with a current Business Plan and set of up to date financial statements to Local Enterprise Office , 35 The Mall, Waterford.
