This workshop is aimed at business owners or marketing professionals who have little or no experience of Google Ads. No prior knowledge is assumed – all topics are explained right from the basics.
Content:
The aim of this course is to teach marketers and business owners what Google Ads is and how it works, how to do the keyword research necessary to running a successful campaign and how to run ads in Google Ads to effectively promote their business.
Topics covered will include the following:
- The difference between ads and organic search results
- Define your marketing goals. Know what you want your ads to achieve
- Set up an advertising campaign, choose your daily budget and understand the various campaign options
- How Google decides which ads to show and where to show them
- Keywords: What they are, how to use the Keyword Planner to find the best ones for your business, and understanding Match Types
- Quality Score: What it is, how it impacts on ad position and cost
- Creating Ad groups and creating multiple ads to test what works
- The landing page experience – check that your website is going to encourage people to do business with you
- Customise ads to take advantage of different ad formats
- Find out what searches triggered your ads
- Track the effectiveness of your ads and improve your results
At the end of this course participants will have a solid grasp of the fundamentals of Google Ads and will feel confident in creating or maintaining a Google Ads campaign.
