Entitled “Our Future Our Way”, National Women’s Enterprise Day takes place on Thursday, 13thOctober, in the Ashdown Park Hotel, Gorey.

The line-up of speakers will feature some of Ireland’s and Wexford’s top female leaders and entrepreneurs.

MC: Joanne Hession, Founder & CEO of LIFT Ireland

LIFT is a national award-winning social enterprise raising the level of leadership across the country. Over 30,000 people have participated in LIFT roundtables since its inception four years ago. 

Panel of speakers:

Chupi Sweetman:  Chupi is the designer of luxury, award-winning jewellery. Employing over 60 people, Chupi has built a borderless brand that is adored by fans in over 65 countries across the world.

Michelle O’Neill:  Michelle is an international assistant soccer referee. She is the first Irish football match official to officiate at an Olympic Games - in Japan in 2021.  In 2019, she became the first-ever Irish person to officiate at a World Cup Final - USA v Netherlands. Michelle has also officiated at top-level UEFA matches.

Trudie Power:  Trudie is the co-founder of award-winning Trudie’s Kitchen and chairperson of Wexford Food Family. Founded in 2000, Trudie’s Kitchen now supplies leading supermarket chains and employs 22 people at its catering facility outside New Ross.  

Wexford Local Enterprise Office’s leading light, Laura Sinnott of Wexford Home Preserves, artisan maker of multiple award-winning jams, marmalades, savoury  and specialty preserves, will also be in attendance at the networking event. The company supplies over 350 shops nationwide and makes award-winning Simply Better products for Dunnes Stores.

The morning programme will conclude with lunch featuring local Wexford produce.
