Objective:
To outline the Trading Online Voucher requirements and the approved list of activities that can be carried out under the voucher.
Workshop Content
An introduction to the voucher, who is eligible, what the voucher can be used for. The application requirements, including what the participants need to submit.
E-Commerce websites
A breakdown of the main marketing activities that are the most popular. These include e-commerce website design, and the workshop includes a list of the most popular e-commerce solutions available.
Online payment gateways.
The pros and cons of the different ways of taking payments through websites.
Amazon and Ebay.
The benefits of using a low cost marketing platform solution.
Etsy
An overview of a popular online platform that appeals to certain sellers and can be helpful in establishing an online trading activity.
Marketing Websites
This part of the workshop looks at how to drive customers to websites in order to increase sales. The content marketing tools available to business owners and how to choose from long term marketing goals and advertising in order to maximise sales and the integration of AI in order to create content that can be used across all platforms.
Google My Business
An overview of the first steps in becoming Google friendly. Includes Google analytics and Google Search Console to explain how to get websites found in Google Search.
Please note that it is a requirement of the Trading Online Voucher scheme that prospective applicants participate in a seminar. Applicants for a second voucher are required to participate if they have not attended a session in the last 9 months.
